![]() ![]() You also have the limited combat options of the Command Deck, which stop you from having the option of Limits, Drives, Summons, and a multitude of unique physical combo options, into having literally almost nothing to fight with besides what's in your deck at the time. Like I said, if this wasn't a KH game, this system would be fairly unique, but since it is a KH game, and we have KH1 and 2 to compare it to, this is unnecessary because it overcomplicates an otherwise simple system of ability-learning from 1 and 2, into needlessly excessive amounts of grinding, just to obtain one ability, from one Dream Eater.īut this also creates the problem of potentially handicapping the player, because the game doesn't tell you what type of DE's have what type of abilities, so if you happen to never stumble-upon the right DE, you can go the whole game without crucial abilities like Second Chance or Once More, which can make the game way harder than necessary. The way you obtain abilities (through the Dream Eater board) is more convoluted. Where I think it falls short (as a KH game for me), is that it's not as well built as other titles like KH1 and 2. ![]() ![]() The combat is solid, the graphics and voice-acting are top-notch, and structurally, it's not a difficult to understand game either. If DDD wasn't a KH game, then I think I would like it more, but since it is a KH game, I'm not huge on it, probably because I have other KH games to compare it to.Īs a whole, it's not a bad game. ![]()
